Alfred Fischer, P Geol, Director and Chief Executive Officer

Alfred Fisher is the Chief Executive Officer, Director and a founder of the Corporation and of Niven Fischer Energy Management Inc and has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr Fischer served for over 20 years with Gulf Canada and held senior management positions in exploration, exploitation and mergers and acquisitions. He also headed Gulf Canada’s international and frontier divisions. In recent years, he has been responsible for founding and developing several junior oil companies and has served as a director on numerous company boards and associations. Mr Fischer has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Geology and is a registered Professional Geologist.

Donald E Foulkes, P Geol, Director

Mr Foulkes is currently the President and CEO of AltaCanada Energy Corporation and has over 35 years North American and international experience with public and private energy companies. Mr Foulkes has also served as a director and founder of several junior oil and gas companies. He was CEO of Bushmills Energy and Causeway Energy and was President of Union Pacific Resources, OHIO Resource Corp, Highridge Exploration, Norwich Resources and TriCentrol Oils. Mr Foulkes has a BSc in Geology from University of Calgary and is a registered Professional Geologist.

Norman Gish, BA, LLB, Chairman and Director

Norman Gish is an experienced Canadian and international businessman. His most recent experience in Canada was as Chairman, President and CEO of Alliance Pipeline that built a large diameter, high-pressure natural gas pipeline from northern British Columbia to Chicago, including a large liquids extraction plant at the end of the pipeline. Earlier he was the President and CEO of North Canadian Oils and its power-generating subsidiary, North Canadian Power. Mr Gish served as a Canadian Government Trade Commissioner in Hong Kong and as Managing Director of Fracmaster China managing the development of a well servicing business in China. He is a director of SuperiorPlus Inc, Provident Energy Ltd, and chairman and director of Railpower Technologies Corporation. He has a BA from the University of Alberta, a LLB from the University of British Columbia and a business diploma from the Banff School of Advanced Management.

H. Douglas Hunter, P Eng, Director

Douglas Hunter is President of RFM Capital Corporation and Bluesky Equities Ltd; private investment companies primarily involved in the oil and gas industry. Mr Hunter has been instrumental in the creation of several private oil and gas companies including Bluesky Oil and Gas Ltd, Petromark Minerals Ltd, Ricinus Resources Ltd, Triumph Energy Ltd, Pocaterra Energy Ltd and Tsunami Petroleums Ltd. Currently he serves as a director of two public companies: Wellco Energy Services Trust and Buffalo Oil Corporation. He has a BSc from the University of Alberta, an MSc from the California Institute of Technology and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Verne G McKay, Director

Mr McKay is an independent businessman and most recently was Senior Vice President and Ombudsman for the Royal Bank Financial Group. He was responsible for managing International Trade out of Toronto for the Royal Bank of Canada and later was the Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Royal Bank of Canada in Asia, based in Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore. He was Managing Director of Orion Royal Pacifc Bank, a merchant bank, financing and underwriting projects in developing countries. While at the Export Development Corporation, Mr McKay was the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Throughout his career, Mr McKay has served as a director and Chairman of several corporate boards, intra-bank committees and community organizations. Mr McKay has a B Com from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the University of Toronto.

Robert D. Niven, P Eng, Director

Robert Niven is a principal and founder of Quadrise Canada and of Niven Fisher Energy Management Inc. Mr Niven has more than 40 years experience in management, engineering and operations in the international petroleum industry and has been responsible for founding and building several petroleum operating and servicing companies. He has served as President of four public energy companies: Esprit Resources, Bralorne Resources, Sagebrush Resources and CanBaikal Resources. Mr Niven has also served as a director of many companies and industry associations and was a principal organizer of the 1988 Olympic Winter Games. He has a BSc in engineering at the University of Alberta, an MASc from the University of British Columbia and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Ian R J Williams, B Econ, Director

Ian is a member of the executive committee of Masefield Group and has over 30 years experience in the international oil industry. Throughout his career, he has specialized in downstream supply, refining and marketing of crude oil and related products. He served as the Head of Strategy and Consultancy with Shell International London, and as the Managing Director Oil and Deputy Chairman with Shell South Africa. Mr Williams has also been actively involved in petroleum industry related associations and was the first Chairman of the Private Sector Foundation in Namibia. Mr Williams has a Bachelor of Economics from the Rhodes University in South Africa.

Quadrise Canada Management

Rodger Bernar, P Eng, Vice President, Business Development

Mr Bernar has been Vice-President, Business Development of Quadrise Canada Corporation since October 1, 2006, and has over 25 years experience in the North American Chemical industry. Mr Bernar spent several years at Marsulex Inc, which included serving as Assistant Vice President Oil & Gas and Refinery Services, and Western Markets Business Manager. He was responsible for strategic and business development, sales, operations, and engineering. He also has broad experience in distributing and marketing industrial commodities and providing outsourced chemical manufacturing services to various industrial sectors. He has a BEng in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Ross Lennox, P Eng, Chief Technology officer

Ross Lennox is a founder and principal of Quadrise Canada and has over 30 years domestic and international experience in the oil and gas industry. Mr Lennox started his career as an Exploration Technologist at Gulf Canada Resources Ltd, had increasing levels of management responsibility, and gained experience in heavy oil, acquisitions, development, exploration and exploitation. Later Ross formed a consulting firm to provide a wide range of services to the oil and gas industry. Mr Lennox has served as a director of six junior petroleum and petroleum technology companies. He has a BSc (Honours) in Geology from the University of Toronto and is a registered Professional Geologist.

Gordon J Hoy, P Eng, Consultant

Gordon Hoy has over 25 years experience in the oil and gas industry in the areas of executive leadership, finance, corporate planning economic evaluations and reservoir engineering. Mr Hoy has led the executive teams of several junior oil exploration companies, including Vice President and General Manager of Inland Gas and Oil, Vice President and General Manager of Landin Resources and President, CEO and CFO of TriQuest Energy. He has a BASc (Honours) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto, a BA in finance from the University of Calgary, has a designation as a Chartered Financial Analyst and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Ray J Iler, Consultant

Ray Iler has over 15 years experience in international finance, banking and accounting. Ray started his public accounting career with Deloitte in Edmonton, Alberta. He later gained international banking and finance experience performing executive roles at UBS and the Bank of Bermuda. He then joined Deloitte’s Global Financial Services team as a partner to grow the Investment Company and Banking audit practice and to launch the Investment Company tax practice in Deloitte’s Cayman Islands office. He has a Bachelor of Commerce degree (with distinction) from the University of Alberta, and has designations as a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Wayne McKay, P Eng, Consultant

Wayne McKay has over 27 years of domestic and international engineering and project management experience in the oil and gas industry. As a Production Engineer with Murphy Oil Company Ltd, Mr McKay has had increasing levels of responsibility in drilling, completions and heavy oil production. He has also provided engineering design and project management as Senior Project Manager of Gas Liquids Engineering Ltd and Operations Manager for Canada Northwest Energy. He has a BSc in engineering from the University of Saskatchewan and is a registered Professional Engineer.

John Wearing, P Eng, Consultant

John Wearing has over 30 years experience managing and directing all aspects of oil and gas engineering and field operations, domestically and internationally. He started his career at Gulf Canada Resources Ltd as a Production Engineer and had increasing management accountability in areas of domestic and offshore operations and construction. Mr Wearing later joined Maxx Petroleum Ltd and was responsible for engineering, field operations, reservoir engineering, and joint interest operations. He was Vice President Operations for Gulf Indonesia Operations Ltd and continued to manage all aspects of onshore and offshore operations. Mr Wearing has a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and is a registered Professional Engineer.

Klaus Demant, Technical Director, DENIMO TECH

Klaus Demant is one of the three founders of Denimo Tech A/S. He has more than 10 years experience in the construction and development of bitumen emulsion plants. He worked as an employee at a larger company in Denmark then later as a partner in Denimo Tech A/S. Mr Demant has previously worked with industrial automation in the electronic industry, primarily in the Scandinavian market. Klaus is originally educated as a machinist and has supplemented his education with diploma courses in Human Resource Management.

Bjarne Nielsen, Managing Director, DENIMO TECH

Bjarne Nielsen is one of the three founders of Denimo Tech A/S. He has more than 30 years of experience in construction, development and the start-up of bitumen emulsion plants all over the world. The first 25 years he worked as an employee at a larger company in Denmark then later as a partner in Denimo Tech A/S. Mr Nielsen is originally educated as a tool maker, and over the years he has increased and specialized his knowledge through continuing education.
