MSAR Outpaces Other Fuels

 

MSAR is unique in many ways. It can be adapted to be manufactured from almost any liquid hydrocarbon, making it a flexible solution to suit customer needs. It is also conveniently manufactured in a portable MSAR Manufacturing Unit (MMU) that is easily setup on site and can be used in multiples for larger processes.

 

Once the hydrocarbon is converted into MSAR, the fuel has a number of benefits:

 

  • MSAR has reduced viscosity which allows the fuel to be easily handled and transported.
  • MSAR burns efficiently, resulting in over 99 percent carbon burnout, eliminating the fouling of boilers.
  • MSAR has a very short combustion time resulting in decreased NOx production.
  • MSAR can be conveniently manufactured on-site in a portable MMU.
  • MSAR can be customized to suit the application; for a once-through-steam generator used in the thermal heavy oil industry, for a utility power boiler, or for a diesel engine.
  • MSAR can be adapted to the feedstock source, the transportation and handling requirements, and the storage conditions.
  • MSAR has virtually unrestricted supply, since low value feedstocks are used for its manufacture.
